Zylle straightened back up and walked toward the oak door that led to her bathroom. She paused briefly, then open ed the door and walked in. A large mirror with a caddy was to her left, and she turned to pick up a brush. She loved to s tyle her hair, and proceeded to do just that. Noticing Heiro looking out the window, Zylle smiled. A lovely day isn't it? Would you care to accompany me on a horse back ride after break fast? Zylle was quite perceptive and had seen Heiro gazing often at the lovely horses in the stable. Of course, Heiro need not know that.

Heiro's slender finger's worked to attach the clasps. Over Zylle's shouder she looked through the glass door of the balcony. The sun was filtered through bright white clouds. In silence she stepped back again, her soft leather sandles scuffing on the floor. Absentmindedly she brushed a curling lock away from her face. Dark gaze switched back to the balcony and the gardens below. Today would be such a wonderful day for horseback riding, and how she loved horses! Queen Zylle's mare was beautiful, sometimes she wished for a horse of her own. Heiro shook her head. What was she thinking? Here she was in the palace as the Queen's own attendant, what more could she ask for? She could be out somewhere on a farm in a ragged dress, milking cows in the morning.
Heiro passed a hand in front of her face and sighed. Her lips pressed into a firm line and she straightened, waiting on any more instructions from her Queen.

Zylle was behind the curtain quickly, and began slipping into the gown. Considering the question, she paused for a moment. I don't believe there's anything important on the schedual today. It was more of a thought out loud, and she proceeded to finish dressing. She immerged from behind the curtain. Can you help me dear? I can't quite get the last clasp. The clasps on the dress were from the waist up, and Zylle obiously couldn't reach the last one.

Heiro raised her slender eyebrows apologetically. "Excuse me, I didn't mean to suprise you." she answered while turning towards the Queen's wardrobe. She pulled on the ornately carved wooden doors and picked a dress off the rack. Secretly the green gown was her favorite of the Queen's clothes. She loved the dark silk and gold hem and tiny delicate embrodery on the neckline and cuffs. Without another thought she handed Zylle the gown and stepped back, standing patiently with her hands folded in front. Just incase she would need help with the clasps on the back of the dress. "My Queen, what are your plans for today?" she questioned.

The Queen's gaze lay upon something distant, but she turned when Heiro spoke. Oh, Heiro! You surprised me. Zylle's smile was winning, and she had much to smile about. Her room was large, with a beautfiul bay window. The wind ow led to a small balcony covered with glass. In a way it was like a private sunroom. Zylle walked over to the curtain th at allowed her privacy when she dressed. Could you get my green gown? The Queen's gowns hung in a large wardrobe by the bed. Zylle was always "bemoaning" the fact that the dressing curtai n wasn't closer to the wardrobe. She didn't like to ask much of her servants, as she loved to be independant.

ooc) I wasn't sure where to post or how to post but here goes, if there's something that's not right let me know. :D
Heiro awoke with yawn and streched, swinging her feet over the bed. White nightgown swished around her ankles as she walked towards the window. Bare feet as noiseless on the wood flooring as a mouse. The sun was just peeking over the hori zon, the deep blue of night retreating with the stars, giving way to bright shades of scarlet and the rising sun. Dark bl ack curls draped over her shoulders as she leaned out on the open sill. With one more breath of fresh morning air, Heiro turned back to face her modest but generous room. As the Queen's lady-in-waiting it wasn't a suprise she was offered some thing as nice as her own room. Heiro flipped open the doors on her wardrobe and quickly grabbed the first dress she laid eyes upon. Behind the screen she swept, changing briskly into her day dress of dark green velvet. A simple-cut gown with a tight bodice fit and long sleeves. She then moved to the little vanity with it's small mirror and brushed out her hair, twisting it up into a bun and pinning it with combs. Though loose curls framed her face and and a few locks fell from he r pulled back hair.
On one wall there was an open doorway, cloth hung down to cover where a door would be. This led to the Queen's chambe rs, Heiro's room was only an antechamber. Though not truely because it also had another door leading out into the palace hall. Heiro stepped through to the Queen's chambers. "My Queen..." she said softly, announcing her presence.
When Elmarath was still a young country, the king of neighboring Dorin kidnapped a young girl. This girl was the daughter of a Lord and Lady. Somehow the kind managed to get the girl out of her world and into an orphanage in London. When she was six, an old woman adopted her and became her grandmother. One day, Regina, as she had been named, found an Elmarathian coin on her bedroom floor. She recognized it, but didn't know why. She took it to her grandmother, who was able to tell her where to look. Regina climbed back upstairs, and felt around her closet for a bit. She found what she was looking for. A door into another world.
Regina's real name was Zylle, and she was welcomed with great rejoicing. Through circumstances, she married the crown prince of Elmarath. Years later, the prince died. That made Zylle the queen of Elmarath. Zylle has ruled this nation with peace for many decades, and now you are invited to take part in this glorious age.

This RPG is based on a series of books my best friend wrote. When I first decided to create an RPG off of the series, I was new to RPG making, and site was anything but pro. Still, it was very active. After awhile though, it went down the drain. I have arrived to reurect Elmarath! Take time to read the plot, it's important!

Please post at least one good paragraph. Here that means about three sentances. I will delete posts that are one-line rs or show no effort. This takes away from the fun of the game. To become a nobleman, you start out small. If you do a good job over a period of time, then you might get a PM saying you are noble now! There is a limit of 2 created characters per person. If your character has a child though, that's ok. Please don't role-play sex scenes. It's ok to do a mild scene so your character can have a child, but put a * in titl e so the younger people know not to look. No powerplaying under any circumstances!
